National Honor Society

Boys' Latin in a proud member of the National Honor Society, Areta Chapter.  The purpose of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership and to develop character.  Students earning a weighted GPA of 3.25 are eligilbe to apply for membership during the second semester of Junior year.  Applicants are thoroughly evaluated based on their scholastic, community service and leadership records as well as their personal integrity and character.  A formal induction ceremony honoring new and existing NHS members is held each Spring with parents and special guests.
