Boys’ Latin is a non-sectarian all-boys independent school serving students in grades k-12. We are a purposefully small school, where meaningful relationships drive boys to learn, and earn, the lifelong rewards of bringing their best selves, every day.
We are a school that values collaboration and creativity and, most importantly, is filled with joy. Our faculty and staff bring world-class experiences to their roles, support one another and immerse themselves in our tight-knit community.
MISSION AND VALUES
Our exceptional faculty and staff are deeply committed to the mission of the School and help create an environment where boys thrive. Here we instill the core values of courage, integrity and compassion in each boy as embodied in our motto, Esse Quam Videri (to be, rather than to seem). Our motto inspires each boy to ensure that what he says is what he does, and our dedicated faculty model this behavior. Here, we also instill in every boy the ability to see the best within himself, and the courage to pursue it – building meaningful, lasting relationships between students and faculty.
Located on 72 rolling acres of countryside Boys’ Latin is only 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore and a little over an hour from Washington DC. We invite you to discover all Baltimore has to offer – a thriving arts community, two professional sports teams, historic buildings and museums, the famous Baltimore Aquarium and so much more.
