Upper School Robotics

Competing in the highly competitive FIRST FRC division, the Lumberjacks Robotics team meets
throughout the year to design, build, test its robots to compete regionally, nationally, and internationally. Working in a state-of-the-art, spacious Robotics lab – fittingly, the original carriage house and hub for all things mechanical for the estate that became the Boys’ Latin campus – the Lumberjacks are aided by faculty experts and experienced alumni mentors to create competition-dominating robots.

Over the past ten years, the Lumberjacks have won numerous Regional and District events and competed in the FIRST World Championship five times. In 2019 the team had their highest finish ever, ending the season ranked 4th in the world.
