Student Activities

Student Activities

Our small community allows us to create a big stage for our boys because unlike larger schools, our schedule is a purposeful design so that a student can participate in clubs, service, plays, teams, and other activities without conflict.

Helping you to discover new passions and talents, allowing you to go beyond narrow pigeon-holing that can happen particularly in a boy’s most formative years and explore the many leadership opportunities our School provides.

Lower School

One Friday afternoon the last hour of the day in lower school is set aside for clubs.  Sign up to try your hand at chess or BINGO, or head to the music room for a rock session. If you love LEGOS the club will be ready for you. Hike around the campus and collect trash while you’re doing it, or explore on your scooter. Join the role play group or master the perfect paper airplane. There’s something for everyone.

Middle School

When you enter middle school you also enter an exciting new world of extracurricular and co-curricular activities.  As a middle schooler, can you participate in clubs, sing in chorus, join the jazz band, or get involved in one of the many character building and leadership programs, all without conflict. Interested in math? You can join the math club and solve increasingly difficult puzzles to prepare for interscholastic math competitions, like Mathalon and MathCounts. In the chess club, students compete in a tournament-style format. You can design, program and build your own robot and compete in the FIRST LEGO League competition.  Our talented writers produce compelling content - from original thought-provoking commentary to editorial cartoons and video shorts. But at the core of all our co-curricular activities is character building and leadership training. You can join the spirit and service clubs, from managing Laker recycling to helping out with neighborhood clean-up efforts, or participate in the cultural awareness club that celebrates and recognizes the diversity within our community while building global awareness.
