BIG OPPORTUNITIES AT A SMALL BOARDING SCHOOL
WELCOME TO BOYS' LATIN!
Being part of a small boarding community provides students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in their education and grow in a tight-knit, caring environment. You will discover big opportunities at a small boarding school and make deep personal connections with peers and faculty alike. A diverse and supportive community will surround you, and your unique talents and gifts will be nurtured and celebrated.
We leverage the power of our small community to create a big stage for our boys. Because unlike larger schools where students compete for limited spots on teams, in plays, or within student government, we create space. At Boys' Latin, you will have space to explore new talents and pursue your passions. Here, there is space for many leaders, rather than just a few.
A small boarding school just might be the right place for you to grow in confidence and independence. We invite you to take a closer look!

BOARDING AT BOYS' LATIN
Boys’ Latin offers an immersive seven-day boarding experience for students in grades 9 - 12.
OUR SMALL SCHOOL & SMALL BOARDING COMMUNITY — LEADS TO STUDENT SUCCESS
At Boys' Latin, we welcome boys from all over the country and around the world into our School, our homes, and our hearts. As a small school and small boarding community, we get to know each boy really well. Our tight-knit community, combined with numerous leadership opportunities, empowers boys to become the best version of themselves and ensures they are well-prepared for college and life beyond school.
A SNAPSHOT OF BOARDING LIFE — SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES
During the week, we build time for group dinners, dorm meetings, study and hang-out time, and many evenings, both day students and faculty members will join boarding students for help sessions and study groups.
Weekends are a busy time for boarders. The campus often bustles with athletic competitions and numerous other BL events and activities, including the annual Bull & Oyster Roast, Fall Festival, and Homecoming Weekend. A plethora of activities will be planned each weekend, from going out for breakfast to visiting museums in Washington D..C. to a ski or tubing trip in the nearby Pocono Mountains. Each of our boarding students will be paired with a day student family for a home-cooked meal, a movie night, or a game at Camden Yards. This is just one more way we integrate boarders into our BL family.
MEET OUR DORM PARENTS — COMMITTED AND DEDICATED
Boys' Latin is thrilled to have an amazing group of adults actively engaged in our boarding program. Five full-time faculty members reside on campus, with three living in the dorm. Nine additional faculty and staff members serve as administrators on duty. This team of sixteen adults interacts with the boys throughout the day and in the evenings and chaperones weekend trips and excursions. Upper school faculty members can often be found tutoring boys in the evenings, joining the boarding students for dinners and special events, and attending the numerous games and activities they participate in throughout the year.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
Located on 72 rolling acres of countryside, Boys’ Latin is only 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University and hospital, thirty minutes from Baltimore Washington International Airport and a little over an hour from Washington DC, providing students the best of both worlds.
Families who live closer to campus also may choose a boarding experience for their son(s), providing boys with the opportunity to learn and grow in a boarding environment without being overtaxed by long commutes and busy schedules, while families are near enough to attend Boys’ Latin games, concerts, and on-campus events.
