Thank you for your interest in Boys’ Latin School.  As a school, we pride ourselves on each and every boy being known.  That’s why an individual visit is an important part of our admissions process.  It provides an opportunity for your family to learn more about Boys’ Latin, but more importantly, it allows our team to learn more about your son.  In addition to being able to ask and answer questions, your virtual visit will also meet our interview requirement for applying to Boys’ Latin.  A student interview (for applicants to grades 6-11) and a parent interview (for applicants to all grades) are required parts of our admission process.  More details about the admissions process can be found by clicking here.
A Virtual Visit can be scheduled in two easy steps:
  1. Complete the Visit Registration Form found below.  On this form, you will provide general contact information, as well as details about your son.
  2. A member of our team will contact you to select your virtual visit date after receiving your Campus Visit Registration Form.  You will receive a confirmation email with more details about your visit, but more information can also be found on this page.
We look forward to meeting you virtually soon.  In the meantime, feel free to contact us at 410-377-5192 x1137 or if you have any questions.

We hope you can join us for one of our many Parent or Student Admissions Events.  For additional details simply click the register button under the event.

  • Can I schedule an on-campus tour?

Yes, we are offering a limited number of small-group on-campus tours. Tours will be available most Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:00 pm. You can register and find more information by clicking on the division you would like to tour:  Lower, Middle, Upper.
  • Can we visit a class?

Yes.  We know that seeing our teachers and students in action is an important part of the traditional campus visit, and we want you to see the good work that happens in our classrooms daily. A member of our team will help you identify a virtual class for your son to observe.
  • Does my son have to participate in the virtual visit?

We require an interview for students applying to grades 6-11, so we ask that those students participate in at least a portion of the virtual visit.  Students applying to lower school are welcome to join the video call, but it is not required.  We know it can be difficult to coordinate family schedules, so please feel free to raise any questions or concerns with us.
  • How will virtual visits work?

Individual virtual visits, as well as most of our virtual programs, will be run through Zoom.  You do not need a Zoom account to join a meeting.  You can enter an event by clicking on a provided link, or by entering the meeting information into the appropriate area via the Zoom app or web site.  If you have general questions about Zoom, please feel free to access their FAQs and Getting Started page found here.
  • What are some other ways to explore Boys’ Latin?

We hope to provide as many opportunities as possible for families to engage with different members of our community virtually so you can get a feel for what makes Boys’ Latin special.  Please check our calendar for upcoming events.
  • When are virtual visits offered?

Multiple meeting times available most days of the week.  A member of our team will help you find the best available time when we receive your Campus Visit Registration Form.  Virtual visits will last for approximately 45 minutes.
