"Our alumni are the envy of other schools. Not only are their collective achievements extraordinary, their commitment to one another and the School is unparalleled. Leading the charge are the more than 2,000 active members of the Alumni Association at Boys' Latin School who each year outpace other schools in alumni giving. The alumni network is such an invaluable asset to our graduates. Our School makes a concerted effort to continuously involve our alumni in virtually all that we do, which is why there's solid alumni representation on our board and within the community. From sponsored lunches and the annual golf outing to the Bull and Oyster Roast and Homecoming Weekend, we invite alumni throughout the year to return to campus and stay in touch with their BL brothers."

kyle gore '80
Kyle Gore '80, chair of the Boldly BL Campaign, alumnus, and vice president of the board of trustees, addressed the crowd at the Boldly BL dedication. He spoke passionately about the positive impact that faculty members had on him during his time on Lake Avenue, and the transformative power of a Boys' Latin education. He closed his remarks by saying, "...it is not just a great day to be a Laker. It's a great honor to be a Laker."

Alumni Board
The BL Alumni Board oversees the Alumni Association activities. Alumni who want to get involved with the School are encouraged to consider joining the Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association is currently developing active chapters outside of Baltimore. An Alumni chapter is an organized group of Boys' Latin Alumni volunteers in a designated geographic region of at least 30 Alumni. Currently, there are chapters in New York City and in Colorado, with plans to open other chapters in different areas of the country in the near future.
The Alumni Association has launched a networking program for our young alumni, and we encourage everyone in the BL community to get involved helping mentor our young alumni. The goal is to help our younger Lakers with their future careers. We introduce our younger graduates to the scores of BL mentors collectively and individually on a case-by-case basis.
