Working At BL:
A member of the class of 1983, Pat originally came to BL as a sophomore in the fall of 1980. He readily credits BL for providing him with the education and intangibles necessary to be successful in college and beyond.
Upon graduation from the University of Maryland, Pat started in a management development program with MBNA, the credit card subsidiary of the former Maryland National Bank. As the bank grew and his career flourished, he held a variety of management positions including: section manager customer service, department manager loyalty marketing, regional head business development and regional human resources executive.
At the end of a 17-year run with the bank and upon reflecting upon "what's next" as the company was sold to Bank of America, it was his volunteer non-profit work that set the stage for the next chapters in his career. After a short consulting role with a New England-based capital campaign group, Pat landed a role managing marketing, communications and fundraising at The Tatnall School, where he was part of a team that produced some of the best results the school had ever seen.
Pat is married to Kate, his wife of more than 25 years. They have three children: a daughter Paige, a graduate of the University of Delaware; a son Mac, a graduate of Ithaca College; and a daughter Claire, a sophomore at Virginia Tech.
