Teaching At BL:
Mr. Mitchell loves working at BL because of the strength of community and the understanding that educating boys occurs with all that we do. He says, "It's not just what occurs in the classroom, but it is every part of their life. At BL, I believe that I have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the students who I interact with each and every day. I believe in the power of a conversation and a simple check in through the hallway. I believe in the strength of a firm handshake and what it can tell you about a young man. I believe that we can be the best school for boys without being caught up trying to be the best boys school."

What's More:
Mr. Mitchell and his wife, Alison, have two young boys, Grayson and Rhett. and a daughter, Paige. He is an avid skier and cyclist and never misses the opportunity to be outdoors.
