Teaching At BL:
For Mr. Hanson, middle school "is just plain fun." He describes his teaching approach as student-guided: "I find out what they want to know and work my curriculum around that. I continuously revise based off my students' feedback."

About BL, he says, "Both the students and the faculty provide a fun and intellectually-stimulating environment."

What's More:
If you don't see Mr. Hanson in the library, you can probably find him restoring a Jeep, something he loves to do in his free time. But to all those who've wondered if he'd leave to devote more time to auto restoration, rest assured that, in his words, "I love teaching too much to spend my life in the garage."
Mr. Hanson also loves hiking, and WW2 and WW1 military living history. His favorite TV show is Once Upon a Time, his favorite movie, Shawshank Redemption, and his favorite book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
