Working At BL:
John arrived at Boys' Latin in July of 2000, and John's son, Chris, attended BL for four years graduating in 1991. In 2007, the Boys' Latin Alumni Association surprised John when they recognized him as a Boys' Latin honorary alumnus, an award John will always cherish. John comments, "Boys' Latin is a little jewel among the areas independent schools. I am so honored to be a Laker."

John was recognized once again in 2017 with the John S. Kerns '52 "Clearly Evident" Award, which honors faculty and staff members where it is clearly evident the person exemplifies the same kind of loyalty and dedication to the School as Jack Kearns did.
