Spotlight on the Class of 2019

Walker Campbell ’19: A True Renaissance Man

Walker Campbell ‘19 came to Boys’ Latin in the middle school and jumped into our community with both feet.  He displayed his many talents at BL by playing the trombone in our highly renowned jazz band, participating in both varsity soccer and lacrosse, and was a pivotal member of the BL Robotics team that finished fourth at World Championships!

Walker was also an outstanding student.  He completed nine AP courses, including five his senior year, and won the Writing Prowess Award.

A list of his activities and achievements only begins to tell the story of this young man. Walker always encouraged his classmates, lent a hand to anyone in need, and ever had a smile at the ready.  He embodies what it means to “live like a Laker.” Walker will attend the University of Richmond next year
