We couldn’t be any prouder of the maturity and poise our senior athletes showed as they managed the challenges of missing their season. Braden McClure ’20 (lacrosse) - Coaches Cup for Teamwork & Leadership
The coaches cup is presented to an individual who, in the eyes of his coaches, is a team leader and puts teamwork above personal goals. 
(He played V soccer and V lacrosse)
 
Carlos Domacasse ’20 (lacrosse manager) - Leo McCormick Award for Dedication & Loyalty to Boys Latin Athletics:
After his graduation in 1926, Leo McCormick was a familiar sight at Boys’ Latin as a supporter of all things BL. He served on our Alumni Board and loved Boys’ Latin and its athletic program. In 1979, Mr. McCormick, along with his wife Virginia, established the Leo H. McCormick Award for dedication and loyalty to Boys’ Latin athletics. Each year, this memorial award is given to a BL community member who unselfishly gives of himself to the BL athletic program. 
 
Ben Heck ’20 - C. Markland Kelly Athletic Service 
This award recognizes an individual who has provided leadership, promoted athletics, exemplified teamwork and sportsmanship.  
 
Emre Yavalar ’20- Phyllis Miller Cup – Unsung Hero
Phyllis Miller was President of the Mother’s Club when Boys’ Latin moved to Lake Avenue. The Phyllis Miller Cup recognizes a critical player on the team who, without fanfare, makes a significant impact on the field. 
 
JT Morton ’20- Phyllis Miller Cup – Unsung Hero & Woodward Cup for Effort in three sports
The Phyllis Miller Cup recognizes a critical player on the team who, without fanfare, makes a significant impact on the field. 
The Woodward Cup is named for Tillie Woodward, a longtime faculty member at Boys’ Latin who served as a librarian, taught mechanical drawing, ran the school plays, and even coached football. She specifically wanted the award for a student who played on three teams and gave outstanding effort in each season. JT participated in varsity football, wrestling, and lacrosse
 
Blake Gable ’20- Coaches Cup for Teamwork & Leadership
The Coaches Cup is presented to a player who, in the eyes of his coaches, is a leader on and off the field and always puts the team above himself. 
 
Colby Weishaar ’20 Jack Williams Cup – Sportsmanship
The sportsmanship award is presented in memory of former Headmaster Jack Williams. Mr. Williams was an advocate of athletics and fair play, and this year’s award is given to a young man who exhibits sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Stephen Davis ‘20 - Jack Williams Cup – Sportsmanship
The sportsmanship award is presented in memory of former Headmaster Jack Williams. Mr. Williams valued athletics, fair play, and sportsmanship; this award is given to a young man who exhibits those qualities on and off the field. 
 
Riar Schell ’21- A. Mason LeBrun Award – Outstanding Junior Athlete
Named for the longtime athletic director and lacrosse coach, Mr. LeBrun oversaw the move from Brevard Street to Lake Avenue and was instrumental in adding cross country, soccer, wrestling, and baseball to the Boys’ Latin athletic program.
