HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

A Holiday Message from Mr. Post
Headmaster Chris Post shared a simple but powerful message of hope and gratitude to the entire Boys' Latin community as we headed out to winter break. Please enjoy our holiday message, video, and even a little song. Happy Holidays!

Dear Boys’ Latin Families,

As our winter recess begins, and I reflect on the past several months, I want to express, once again, my sincere appreciation to our community. The boys have been amazing, demonstrating their commitment to one another and to our School while remaining cheerful and optimistic throughout all of the changes and challenges. Our faculty and staff's creativity, dedication and unceasing professionalism have allowed us to achieve our goal of providing an in-person learning experience as safely as possible, for as many students as possible.  Words cannot effectively express my gratitude.

This morning at 10 AM, we held an all-school holiday gathering, and although it couldn’t include our traditional holiday sing-along, we were able to gather as a community. I shared a few comments, watched our holiday video and the boys, particularly our lower schoolers, delighted in seeing that it continues to snow on Lake Avenue, even indoors. The boys were also treated, and I use that term loosely, to spreading some holiday cheer – including a little singing.  Click here to view.

As we prepare to close out 2020, and look hopefully to 2021, please know how much I value you all of the members of our community.  You - our alumni and families, our faculty and staff and our friends – have, time and time again demonstrated your trust and support of the School that we love.  For that, and for you, I am forever grateful.

Wishing you and your families a happy and healthy holiday season, and peace and good will in the year to come.

Warmly,

Christopher J. Post
