Teaching At BL:
Working at BL has been Mrs. Bruno's favorite place of employment to date. Not only is she a school nurse but she also teaches family life to 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. This class captures the attention and motivates the students to learn about topics that they may not feel comfortable asking a parent or sibling about. Her teaching style allows for free speech and open dialogue discussions on topics including puberty, reproduction, dating, healthy relationships and decision making processes.

What's More:
Mrs. Bruno enjoys reading, cooking, anything to do with dogs, and travelling RV style. She resides with her husband Nate, son Tally who is a BL alumnus and student at Johns Hopkins, and two most endearing labs, Barney and Maisie.
