Teaching At BL:For Mr. Morrissey, effective teaching is directly correlated with strong relationships with each of his students. Since he teaches multiple grades in the Upper School, Mr. Morrissey enjoys being able to witness the boys' growth as students and as young men as they make their way into adulthood through the lessons learned and experiences from which they benefit at Boys' Latin.
Mr. Morrissey focuses on providing his students with the tools they need to be successful at Boys' Latin and beyond. BL often reminds him of his own high school - small, tight-knit community that makes everyone feel welcome. In fact, it was his great high school experience that led him to become a teacher, so that he could pass along the same experience to another generation of high schoolers.
What's More:One of Mr. Morrissey's personal goals is to visit all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. He has already been to 17. When not trying to get to the other 13, Mr. Morrissey likes to kick back and enjoy episodes of his favorite show; Modern Family.
