The Boys' Latin Parents' Association is a vibrant, welcoming community of caring volunteers.


If you're a Laker parent or guardian, you're automatically a member of the Boys' Latin Parents' Association. We invite you to get involved in our vibrant, welcoming community of caring volunteers. There's no better way to become familiar with our campus, connect with other Laker parents, watch our school "in action," and serve the interest of BL parents, students, faculty and staff.

From taking a Board position, to chairing an event, to volunteering just once a year, we've got a role for every member. It's easy to get involved. Each division - lower, middle and upper - meets monthly. Generally, the upper school meets the first Thursday of the month, the middle school meets the first Friday of the month, and the lower school meets the second Thursday of the month. The location is usually in the Bauer Student Commons at 8:00 am. The PA Board is made up of the Executive Committee, which includes all PA officers and the division coordinators. Our Mission

The Association is a volunteer auxiliary organization of the School and shall be subject to the direction of the Headmaster and the Board of Trustees. The purpose of the Association is to foster a positive spirit within the School family, to provide financial support to the School, to assist the School in its admissions process and in its efforts to provide educational facilities, opportunities, and assistance to its student organizations. The Association’s leadership serves as a liaison between parents and the administration and works to ensure the accurate flow of information between parents and other stakeholders of the School.


Annual dues of $50 per student help finance the Association's activities.  Dues are automatically included in the bill for each student's tuition.  In addition, the Association conducts fundraisers such as the annual Bull and Oyster Roast and no-cost fundraisers. A separate solicitation is also made for the Teacher Appreciation Fund. Every fundraising dollar goes to benefit our school.
